Blog 3

So we are supposed to write about something random this week. So I guess my random topic is one of my life goals. It is kind of funny, and my family thinks that it is weird, but my favorite actor is Morgan Freeman. I just think that he is amazing, so one of my life goals is to watch every movie that he has either been an actor or narrator in. Little did I know that he has been in almost 100 movies. I looked him up and I didn’t realize that he was turning 75 this year either. So I had to text on of my friends from back home because he is like obsessed with him as well. He was very surprised as well. I also found out that he has another movie coming out this year, and another one in 2013 called Now You See Me. I am excited to go see them, but that just adds to my list I guess, so it will make it even harder to watch all of them.
If I finish watching all the movies that he has been in, I will move to the TV shows that he has been in or the episodes on the ones that he has guest starred in. I am hoping I would be able to find these, because the show The Electric Company was from the 70’s. Luckily I doubt that I will get this far, so I probably don’t have to worry about this. Even if I do get this far, it will not be any time soon. This is going to be a really tough goal, and everybody always laughs at me when I tell them that this is one of my life goals, but I am determined to do it. Well that was enough talking about a random topic. Maybe I will think of something more exciting to write about next time haha.

  1. Morgan Freeman is an amazing actor. Do you have a favorite movie of his? I think the first movie I ever saw him in was Seven with Brad Pitt.

While this life goal may seem weird to others, I think it is a wonderful goal. Have you ever thought about reflecting about the films in a journal or blog? It would be a way to not only catalog all the films or shows that you have seen but also allow you the space to talk about your experience. Plus, it would be a interesting anecdotal passage for a future memoir, if you ever get famous or pursue life writing in your future.
